Hello
As a psychologist, I help people with life's challenges. I will help you overcome these challenges in a supportive, nonjudgmental, and caring way. We will forge a partnership that sets a course for your improvement.
I received my doctorate degree from the City University of New York in 1990 and also have a Masters Degree in applied behavior analysis from the University of the Pacific. Trained as a cognitive behaviorist, I help people with their problems in practical ways, by attacking the self-defeating thoughts and behaviors that get in the way of a happier life.
I believe that people are always capable of reinventing themselves, whether it's an important life decision, the elimination of destructive patterns, improving relationships, attaining a long-desired goals, or a fuller exploration of values and personal identity. Maslow called it "self-actualization;" I call it being your best self.
